About this Website

The goals of this site are as follows:

  1. Help foster a sense of community among park members.
  2. Provide a means for park members to share news and park-related information with other members (even between members that don't visit the park at the same time).
  3. Help mobilize members as a unified group, if needed, to more effectively solicit action related to the park by government or other entities.

To accomplish these goals, the site has two primary sections: An article section designed to provide news and information about the park, and a discussion forum where park members can discuss park-related issues online.

We want our content to be user-generated. So if you have park-related stories or news to share, please use the contact page to send it to us and we'll consider publishing it in the article section. (Note: By submitting content for publication on this site, you confirm that you have all rights to that content unless you specifically tell us otherwise. In addition, by submitting content for publication, you agree that the content can be published for the lifetime of this site.)

To discuss park issues with other members, please use our discussion forums by clicking the DISCUSSION FORUMS tab at the top of any page. While in the discussion forums, click the large Millrace Park link to return to the blog section. Please note that you are required to create an account before you can post messages in the discussion forums. This helps prevent abuse of the system. Your privacy is important to us and your information will not be sold or shared with anyone else.

Also note that the forums will be subject to very minimal moderation. If you are easily offended, then an online discussion forum may not be for you. However, remember that a stated goal of this site is to help foster a sense of community among park members. Therefore, we ask that you please do not use this site for personal attacks or to otherwise attack or make derogatory remarks about other members.

This website was developed privately. The developers of this website are not associated with Taylorsville City or any organization involved directly in the development of Millrace park.

Enjoy,
